Interview Questions
This file contains interview questions (Dutch) on the curricular content of textbooks for reading comprehension instruction, as well as a shortened English translation. These interview questions were used for semi-structured teacher interviews in the context of a mixed-methods study on the content of teaching materials that are used for reading comprehension instruction in Dutch primary schools. The purpose of these interview questions was to gain insight into teachers' use and evaluation of their textbooks for reading comprehension instruction.
Observation scheme
This file contains the Dutch observation scheme that was used for lesson observations during reading comprehension lessons in various Dutch primary schools. The file also contains a shortened, translated overview of the observation scheme (English). The purpose of the observation scheme was to gain insight into typical classroom practice during reading comprehension lessons.
Materials analysis
This file contains the guidelines for an analysis of textbooks and other teaching materials that are used to teach reading comprehension in Dutch primary schools, as well as a shortened English overview.
